Mental Health Welcome To Complimentary Care Complimentary care is an independent provider of support services for people with mental health and forensic needs . We also provide support at one service unit for people with learning disabilities. We aim to support service users to develop their social skills, self confidence and combat social exclusion through meaningful occupation. This is to prepare service users for moves to longer term or step down service and more independent living. We work closely with many support agencies, drug and alcohol services, such as High Support Rehabilitation (forensic) teams, advocacy and cultural groups to provide a comprehensive multi agency needs led service. About Us What We Do We provide support that enables the service user to return to and remain in the community, functioning at the optimal levels of independence. Our core value is to ensure that all service users with a care need are given greater autonomy and empowerment about the choices they make around their own lives. By listening to their views and aspirations we are able to offer support around the choice's they make for themselves. Our person centred approach means our clients are at the heart of what we do. We work with them to develop their support plans, risk assessments and we encourage them to achieve their objectives through a range of activities. Fostering an environment where colleagues feel themselves at work is crucial to operational performance and we are committed to our ethos of providing quality care to all individuals with a care need.
